Mindware Research Institute has redesigned www.thinknavi.ai as a comprehensive knowledge resource for thinking methods and qualitative analysis. Alongside the renewed website, we plan to release ThinkNavi Free in the coming days, followed by a paid, LLM-powered edition of ThinkNavi in November 2026.
Reimagining Established Thinking Methods for the AI Era
Over the years, numerous methods have been developed to support problem-solving, strategic planning, and decision-making, including SWOT analysis, TOWS, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), scenario analysis, morphological analysis, and Bayesian networks.
However, these methods are often used independently. Challenges remain in connecting qualitative judgments with mathematical analysis and combining different approaches into a coherent analytical process.
Meanwhile, generative AI has made it much easier to organize information, identify relevant factors, and generate hypotheses. Yet simply asking AI for an answer does not necessarily help us understand the assumptions, evidence, and reasoning behind its conclusions.
The new ThinkNavi aims to combine established thinking methods with mathematical models and AI assistance, enabling people to understand, examine, and refine the analytical process rather than simply accept AI-generated answers.
A Knowledge Hub for Learning and Practicing Thinking Methods
The redesigned ThinkNavi.ai provides structured information on creativity techniques, problem-solving, logical reasoning, information organization, strategic analysis, and decision-making methods.
It also explores the theoretical foundations of thinking, including philosophy, logic, cognitive science, and scientific methodology.
Beyond introducing individual techniques, ThinkNavi explains their purposes, theoretical foundations, limitations, and relationships with other methods, connecting this knowledge directly to practical analytical tools.
ThinkNavi Free — Coming Soon
ThinkNavi Free will provide free access to an expanding collection of established analytical methods, including SWOT and TOWS analysis, AHP, decision matrices, and scenario analysis.
These tools will make it easier to perform analyses traditionally conducted on paper or in spreadsheets, using dedicated interfaces and mathematical computation.
Core analytical functions that do not require LLM processing will be available free of charge.
LLM-Powered ThinkNavi — Scheduled for November 2026
The paid edition, scheduled for release in November, will introduce LLM-assisted capabilities for organizing information, identifying analytical factors, generating hypotheses, and interpreting results.
Rather than leaving the entire analytical process to AI, ThinkNavi emphasizes collaboration between humans and AI, allowing users to define objectives, establish assumptions, examine intermediate results, and refine their analyses.
We will continue expanding the library of established thinking methods and analytical tools, developing ThinkNavi into a comprehensive thinking and analysis platform for the AI era.
